EroLove’s privacy policy makes a distinction many readers could miss: generated character images can begin inside a private chat, while the company’s team may later select some for public character showcases, listings on other sites or promotional material. The policy says published images are not linked to the user, account, name or conversation. It also says a previously published copy remains public after the user deletes a chat or account.
This article describes that written clause, not a case we observed. We have not generated an image or found a specific user’s image in a public listing. The service says its characters are fictional adults; this is not an allegation that it publishes identifiable users’ intimate photos.
Two routes for an image
| Route | What the policy describes | What deletion means |
|---|---|---|
| Image kept in a private chat | Stored so it remains visible in that conversation | Chat or account deletion is described as removing account data within the policy’s time frame. |
| Image selected for a public character use | Team-chosen fictional-character copy without account or message linkage | The public copy is not in the user’s export and remains published after deletion. |
The second route is an exception to the intuitive belief that “delete my account” recalls everything generated during my time there. It does not mean a public image reveals who requested it. The policy explicitly says the opposite. The objection is about future control of an output, not a claim of identity disclosure.
The terms reinforce this distinction. They describe a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to use generated character images for showcases, listings and promotion without credit or payment, while saying the user is not identified with the image. A perpetual license is a serious thing to read before generating media, even if the fictional image contains no personal likeness.
What you can decide before generating
If an image might feel personally meaningful or embarrassing to see reused, consider whether that possibility changes your decision. Do not assume a private chat context guarantees exclusive control of every character image it produces. If you want an output solely for your own use, ask whether the current terms offer that right. The public documents reviewed here do not provide a general opt-out from the described selected-image publication.
For an existing image that seems unlawful or resembles a real person, the policy provides a report path. Preserve a URL, date and concise description without redistributing sensitive content. We have not tested the report response or removal process, so the presence of a form should not be mistaken for proof of a particular outcome.
A precise verdict
The clause is unusually consequential because it breaks a common mental shortcut: private generation does not always mean private lifetime. The policy promises no user linkage, and we have no evidence contradicting that. But it also states that a public copy can persist after account deletion. A buyer deserves to see both halves before spending Sparks on an image.
